I have HPV. Should my partner be tested too?

For men and many body sites, there is no approved routine test for people without symptoms. A partner usually does not need immediate testing solely because of your result, but any lesion, wart, bleeding, or persistent symptom needs examination, and they should continue screening appropriate to their own age and anatomy. Discussing vaccination, correct condom use, and not smoking is more useful than trying to identify timing or blame. A shared consultation can reduce anxiety and misunderstandings.
