Question
My wart returned after treatment. Does that mean treatment failed?
A clear, supportive answer
Not necessarily. Recurrence can happen in the first months because treatment removes the visible lesion while immune control takes time. Recurrence alone does not prove poor treatment or reinfection from a partner.
Have the new lesion confirmed and discuss the next option. Do not delay assessment if it bleeds, ulcerates, changes color, hurts, or grows quickly.
An important boundaryThis is educational information and cannot provide a personal diagnosis without examination, history, and the complete test result.
